Dr. J. Jacob Ransom DPM

Board certified in both foot surgery and reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.

Dr. Ransom has been practicing in New Braunfels since 2003. He attended Austin College in Sherman, TX where he obtained a Bachelor of Art degree in Biology.

 He then attended Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine affiliated with Chicago Medical School. He then went on to complete a 3­ year surgical residency at Cambridge Health Alliance affiliated with Harvard Medical School in Boston, Massachusetts.

Dr. Ransom enjoys golf, hunting and spending time with family and friends. Dr. Ransom is married and has four children.

Dr. Cory Moczygemba DPM

New Braunfels Podiatry Associates would like to welcome our newest team member, Dr. Cory Moczygemba. Originally born and raised in New Braunfels, Texas, Cory attended Canyon High School where he was active with the football and baseball teams. The Beito and Moczygemba families have been close friends for over 30 years and Dr. Beito was Cory’s inspiration to study the field of Podiatry. While Dr. Beito will always be missed, we are very fortunate to have Dr. Moczygemba whom Dr. Beito had the greatest of confidence in.

Dr. Moczygemba attended the University of Texas at Austin and then Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine in Miami. He finished his graduate medical education at Texas A&M and Baylor Scott & White in Temple, Texas. During his residency, he was exposed to a multitude of services including clinical care, inpatient care, and outpatient care and surgery. He was fortunate to work at multiple surrounding hospitals in the area with specialized training in pediatric care and surgery, joint arthroscopy and replacements, and foot and ankle trauma.

Cory is incredibly happy to be back in his hometown of New Braunfels, Texas and serve the community that helped raise him. He enjoys outdoor activities, especially on the water. He also enjoys hunting, fishing, golf and cheering on his Texas Longhorns.
