Dr. Steve Beito, DPM

Dr. Steve Beito has been practicing podiatric medicine and surgery since 1985 and in private practice in New Braunfels, Texas since 1987. He is currently the managing partner of New Braunfels Podiatry.

Dr. Beito received his Bachelor of Science degree from Alma College in Michigan. After graduating from medical school at the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine, he completed a surgical residency at The University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, Texas where he served as chief resident.

Dr. Beito is Board Certified in Foot Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. He was a past clinical instructor at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio.

Dr. Beito has special interest in surgical reconstruction of the foot and was a co­designer of the Trilliant "2 Step" implant used in correction of hammertoe/clawtoe deformities. He also is experienced in treating chifctsen's clubfoot deformities and has mastered the art of general non-surgical foot care.

Dr. Beito has been published in the Clinics in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery, and the Journal of American Podiatric Medical Association. Dr. Beito is an avid fisherman and hunter and enjoys traveling the world with his wife, family and friends.

 

 


Dr. J. Jacob Ransom, DPM

 

Board certified in both foot surgery and reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.

Dr. Ransom has been practicing in New Braunfels since 2003. He attended Austin College in Sherman, TX where he obtained a Bachelor of Art degree in Biology. He then attended Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine affiliated with Chicago Medical School. He then went on to complete a 3­ year surgical residency at Cambridge Health Alliance affiliated with Harvard Medical School in Boston, Massachusetts.

Dr. Ransom enjoys golf, hunting and spending time with family and friends. Dr. Ransom is married and has four children.
